Alejandro Coronado Balandran

ROCKFORD – Alejandro Coronado Balandran, age 46, of Rockford passed away peacefully Sunday December 26, 2021. Born in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico on November 29, 1975 to Francisco Coronado & Ocilia Balandran. An avid sports fan, Alejandro loved rooting for the America Soccer Team and the Dallas Cowboys and watching tennis. Happy, humble and kindhearted, he loved dancing to Cumbias and testing his luck at the casino. Beloved son, brother, uncle and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his mother, Ocilia Balandran; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; and numerous nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Francisco Coronado.

Mass of Christian Burial held Friday January 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2505 School Street. Visitation held Thursday January 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Avenue, Rockford. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
