Alice L. Wilson

LOVES PARK – Alice L. Wilson, age 88, of Loves Park passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 28, 2018. Born in Tupelo, MS on March 7, 1930 to John Gordon & Flora Daisy Curington (Lewis). She married RB Wilson in January 1947. Proud, dedicated and hard working; she retired after 30 years of service as a machine operator at Warner Lambert Company, a job she truly loved. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her children, Roger (Betty) Wilson, Irene (Don) Lamb, Roy (Deb) Wilson, Marilyn (Daniel) Watson, Doris Wilson and John Wilson; grandchildren, Ron, Phil, Brian, Tina, Shanda, Rachel, Robert and Amanda; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy (Denny) Mitchell; special sister-in-law, Carolyn Curington; as well as many dear friends and her beloved cat. She is predeceased by her husband, RB Wilson; grandsons, Kit and Michael; siblings, Victor (Annamae) Curington, Mattie Lou (Carroll) Morris, Merleen (Herman) Jones and Delmar Curington; and her parents.

Private interment at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery, Rockford, Illinois. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
