Anna Jane Bursell

ROCKFORD - Anna Jane Bursell (Tyler), age 80, of Rockford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky on December 26, 1945 to Virgil & Cordelia Tyler (Webb). She married Robert Bursell on July 31, 1965, who preceded her in death in 1991. Jane enjoyed gambling, playing bingo and spoiling her dearly beloved dog, CJ, who brought her companionship and happiness. Jane will be lovingly remembered by her family and all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will live on through the generations of her family and she will be deeply missed.

Forever loved, never forgotten.

Jane is survived by her sons, Kevin (Tammy) Bursell, Robert “Bobby” (Angela) Bursell Jr. and Derrick Bursell; grandchildren, Jessica, Kevin II (Jodi), Kristopher (Brianna), Megan and Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Payton and Maddox. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert; and her parents.

Funeral Services to be held Friday, October 16, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Avenue, Rockford, with visitation from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Interment at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials to the Family.
