Annabelle Shugars

ROCKFORD – Annabelle Shugars, age 87, of Rockford passed away Thursday June 20, 2019. Born in Springfield, MO on December 6, 1931 to Lee & Nora Munhollon (Sanders). She loved gardening, animals and telling jokes with her friends at Doughboys Donuts Shop. Beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by son, Robert Dean Millard; step children, Gary (Beth) Shugars, Peggy (Charlie) Teeters and Susan (Marty) Palm; granddaughter, Kendra (Howard) Millard; great grandchildren, Brayden & Olivia; nieces & nephews, Rick, Julie, Karen and Kelly; and dear friend, Jim Gentry. She is predeceased by her children, Jim & Judith Nichols; and husbands, Guy Nichols, Robert Dean Millard Sr. and Clayton Shugars.

Funeral Services held Saturday June 29, 2019 at 5:00 PM at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Ave., with visitation from 3:00 PM until the time of services at 5:00 PM. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield, MO held Monday July 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Memorials to the family.
