Anthony Nicholas Krentiras Sr.

ROCKFORD – Anthony Nicholas Krentiras Sr., age 83, of Rockford passed away Monday January 20, 2020. Born in Melrose Park, IL on January 27, 1936 to Sam & Carmella Krentiras (Rago). An avid Chicago Bears fan, Anthony loved fishing and NASCAR. Fun loving and cherished father, grandfather, brother and dear friend, he will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his children, Nicholas Krentiras, Tami Bickley and Anthony (Jessica) Krentiras Jr.; grandchildren, Nicholas, Ted, Lexi, Joseph and Sylar; sister, Kathy Evans; numerous nieces & nephews and cousins; as well as many dear friends. He is predeceased by his son, Anthony Krentiras; and his parents.

Celebration of Life Memorial held Friday January 24, 2020 from 2-4 PM at First Born Ministries, 8213 N. Alpine Road, Loves Park, IL. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
