Antoinette "Jean" Hedrick

ROCKFORD – Antoinette Jean Hedrick, age 84, of Rockford passed away peacefully Monday July 8, 2019. Born in Baraboo, WI on June 10, 1935 to Amos & Ivy Hayes (Johnson). A devoted wife and mother, Jean loved baking her famous cookies. She enjoyed crocheting, planting flowers and tuning in to her favorite Soap Opera & game shows; Young and the Restless, Wheel of Fortune & the Price is Right. Beloved wife, mother, sister and dear friend, she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Richard Phillip Hedrick, children, Dawn (Dennis) Fermanich, Dale Hedrick and Richard "Rick" Hedrick; brother, Paul Hayes; brother-in-law, Terry Kjenner; sister-in-law, Sherry Hedrick; numerous nieces & nephews; and beloved pets, Eli the dog and Precious the cat. She is predeceased by her brother-in-law, Raymond Hedrick; sister-in-law, Sharon Kjenner; and her parents.

Celebration of Life Memorial held Monday July 15, 2019 at 12:00 noon at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Ave., with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 12:00 noon. Cremation rites accorded. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Rockford Rescue Mission.
