LOVES PARK – Arthur Thomas Thompson Jr., age 56, of Loves Park and formerly of Rockford passed away on Tuesday June 26, 2018. Born in Rockford on July 15, 1961 to Arthur Thomas & Josephine Ann Thompson (Rullo). Arthur loved spending time with his family, especially time with his son. They loved playing catch, going to softball games & the movies and grilling on the barbecue. Beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and dear friend; he will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Thompson; son, Anthony Thompson; siblings, Barb (Chuck) Cassaro & John Rullo; niece, Stephanie Prock; nephew, Nick Rullo; great nieces & nephews; Benjamin & Julia Prock and Anthony Messer; dear friend, Don McCullam. He is predeceased by his parents; sister, Janet; and brother, Chuck.

Memorial Services held Wednesday July 11, 2018 at 1:00 pm at City First Church, 5950 Spring Creek Rd. Rockford, . Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family .
