Betty Mary Schulz

ROCKFORD, IL – Betty Mary Schulz, age 93, of Rockford passed away peacefully at home Thursday, March 27, 2025. Born in Chicago, IL on April 22, 1931 to Joseph & Mary Haupt (Fisher). Betty retired after 32 years of service at the Rockford Water Department. She loved reading, ceramics, playing the slots and winning big on number 40 at BINGO. Beloved mother and grandmother, she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by children, Michael (Bambi) Schulz, David (Maralynda) Schulz, Joe (Julie) Schulz, Mona Schulz, Robert Schulz and Barbara Schulz; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents and granddaughter.

Funeral Services held Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 4:00 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave., Rockford, with visitation from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm. Cremation rites accorded.  Private interment at Burritt Cemetery. Memorials to the family.
