Blanche I. Anderson

STRATFORD, WI – Blanche I. Anderson, age 94, of Stratford, WI passed away peacefully Tuesday July 16, 2019. Born in McMillen Township, WI on September 24, 1924 to Gerhardt & Viola Sommer (Rickert). Blanche loved crossword puzzles, word searches, journaling in her diary and sitting down with a good book. She had an exceptional memory and never forgot to send a personalized hand written letter or card for your birthday, holiday or special occasion. A talented chef in the kitchen, Blanche did not enjoy cooking or baking and secretly loved to grab a quick burger anytime she had the chance. Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her sons, Jim (Sherry) Anderson and Tim (Dale Ann) Anderson; grandchildren, Jessica (Tim) Wagner, Tim (Amanda) Anderson, Jerrica Anderson, Matt (Heather) Anderson and Jack (Storm Ergle) Allman; great grandchildren, Kourtney, Brayton, Austin, Avery and Aiden; cousins, Paula (late Maynard) Mostrom, Jane (Bob) Doll and Carol (late Wilfred) Clark; as well as many dear friends. She is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Grant Anderson; great grandson, John Simmons; and her parents.

Celebration of Life Memorial held Saturday August 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Forest Hills Evangelical Free Church, 5183 Pebble Creek Trail, Loves Park, IL, with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM and reception to follow. Cremation rites accorded. Interment of cremains held Saturday September 7, 2019 at 9:00 AM at Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield, WI.  Memorial Services to follow at Community Bible Church, 100 Fieldcrest Dr, Stratford, WI., with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM with reception to follow.
