Bonnie Jean Lensing

CALEDONIA, IL – Bonnie Jean Lensing, age 75, of Caledonia took her last breath peacefully with her children by her side Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 3:33 am. Born in Decorah, IA on May 1, 1950 to Gerhard & Zola Thingvold (Johnson). She married Thomas Joseph Lensing on August 3, 1968 in Hesper, IA. She loved gardening, beautiful flowers, birds and took great pride in her scenic property that she developed and maintained with love. Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and dear friend; she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her children, Candy Power and Cory Lensing; and grandchildren, Preston, Trevor and Cameron. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Lensing; brother, John Thingvold; and her parents, Gerhard & Zola Thingvold.

Services are Private. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
