Bonnie L Lynch

ROCKFORD – Bonnie Lee Lynch, age 72, of Rockford passed away peacefully on Monday December 24, 2018. Born to Albert & Eleanor Weitz (Marquard) in Waupaca, WI on October 23, 1946. Moved to Rochelle in 1953 and is a graduate of Rochelle High School. She married James W. Lynch on September 19, 1969. Bonnie was a pastoral secretary at Our Savior's Lutheran Church for 13 years and a pastoral secretary at Swedish American Hospital where she retired after 13 years. She continued to volunteer at Swedish American Hospital even after her retirement. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs & Green Bay Packers.

She is survived by husband, James Lynch; son, Todd (Gina Rinaldo) Britnell; step-son, John (Betty) Brinkmeier; grandchildren, Jared White, Joshua & Morgan (Colin Osborne) Britnell, Erica (Thomas) Patterson, Matthew (Melina Montesino) Brinkmeier, Jessica (Eric Abeyta) Brinkmeier; 3 great-grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and countless friends. She is predeceased by her parents and sister, JoAn Weitz.

Celebration of Life held at Noon on Friday January 4, 2019 at Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Avenue, Rockford, with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of services at Noon. Cremation rites accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
