Brian Eugene Thompson

ROCKFORD - Brian Eugene Thompson, age 57, of Rockford passed away Tuesday June 23, 2020. Born on June 5, 1963 in Rockford to George & Dorothy Thompson Jr. (Hamor). Lovingly known as "Uncle B", Brian was an avid story teller and loved laughing about old times in the company of his family. He enjoyed playing video games, fishing and experimenting in the kitchen with his cooking. Beloved brother, uncle and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by siblings, George Thompson III, Tim (Sherry) Thompson and June Lamb; nieces & nephews, Joshuwa, Kristal, Kenneth (Ashley) III, Justin (Monica), Monte Jo and Georgia Lynn; numerous great nieces & nephews; many aunts & uncles; dear friend, Ron Whitherby; numerous cherished friends; and beloved pitbull, Dynamite. He is predeceased by his parents.

Services are Private. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
