Cathi Paulette Turner

ROCKFORD – Cathi Paulette Turner, age 50, of Rockford passed away Saturday November 5, 2022. Born in Rockford on October 13, 1972 to Danny Joe Turner Sr. & Charlene Kay Pouder. A proud accounting graduate of the University of Arizona, Cathi loved making jewelry, crafting, music and singing. She even won a national singing contest and had her recordings put on CD. An animal lover and advocate, her true pride & joy was spending time with her son and her family. Beloved soulmate, mother, sister, aunt and dear friend; she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her soulmate of 18 years, Todd Bowling; son, TJ Bowling; siblings, Danny Joe (Jessica) Turner of Rockford, IL, Michele Marie (Gary) Martin of Clinton, TN and Melissa Lynn Turner of Rockford, IL; numerous nieces & nephews; and dear friends, Nathan Dimond & Erin O'Brien. She is predeceased by her mother, Charlene Kay Ballinger; father, Danny Joe Turner Sr.; and her grandparents.

Celebration of Life Memorial to be announced. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
