Clyde A. Feltz Jr.

MACHESNEY PARK – Clyde A. Feltz Jr., age 79, of Machesney Park passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family Friday December 4, 2020. Born in DeKalb, IL on June 26, 1941 to Clyde A. & Marion Feltz Sr. (Ferguson). A proud Veteran of the US Navy, he served his country from 1958 – 1966. He married the love of his life, Dianne Schwartzlow on October 13, 1973 in Rockford. Clyde retired after 37 years of service at GKN of Loves Park. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years; Dianne M. Feltz (Schwartzlow); children, Kris Feltz and Matt (Tamara) Feltz; grandchildren, Deven, TJ (Taylor), Madison, Megan and Sophie & Kaylin; brothers, Don (Sandy), Danny, Paul (Maryann) & Fred (late Julie); as well as numerous nieces & nephews; beloved dog and buddy, Carlos. He is predeceased by his parents; brothers, Tom & Jack; and sisters, Katie, Joyce & Nancy.

Friends may visit with the family for visitation on Wednesday December 9, 2020 from 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Ave., Rockford. Cremation Rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
