Courtni Marie Morrison

ROCKFORD – Courtni Marie Morrison, age 40, of Rockford passed away peacefully surrounded by family Sunday, March 22, 2026. Born in Rockford on December 3, 1985 to Jeff Morrison & Donna Marie Nania-Garland. Loving, caring, kind and a genuine people person, Courtni loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her children, her true pride and joy. Selfless and always willing to help those in need, Courtni's spirit lives on to offer others a second chance, by being an organ donor, ensuring her legacy is a lasting gift of hope and life. Beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt and dear friend, she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her beloved children, Jonathon Stinson, Areighana Thompson and Jaelynn Morrison; mother, Donna Marie Nania-Garland; father, Jeff (Dawn) Morrison; sisters, Kelli Garland (Nick Onley) and Rilei Riggs; niece and nephew, Truman & Hazel Onley; aunts and uncles, twins Tim & Tammy Nania, Lisa (Scott) Stinson and Gregg Morrison; special love, Cory; numerous beloved cousins and loved ones; and many dear friends. She is predeceased by her daughter, Lilyana Morrison-Finch; grandparents, Linda Nania and Gerald (Shirley) Morrison; and great grandmother, Helen Jarley.

Funeral Services to be held Monday, March 30, 2026 at 1:00 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Avenue, Rockford, with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Interment at Cedar Bluff Cemetery, Rockford. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
