Cynthia A. Bruno

ROSCOE – Cynthia "Cindy" A. Bruno, age 76, of Roscoe passed away peacefully Saturday December 3, 2022 surrounded by family & loved ones after a courageous battle with a series of strokes. Born in Rockford on October 17, 1946 to Gordon & Mary Johnson (Wolfram). A wonderful wife & mother, she was always there when needed. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Cindy. She enjoyed going to restaurants for breakfast, bus trips to the casino and day trips with family & friends to various destinations. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend; she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years; Gary Bruno; son, Brad Bruno; daughter-in-law, Kim Bruno; grandsons, Chris & Nick; brother, Greg Johnson; and dear family friend, Tina Laney. She is predeceased by her son, Brian Bruno; and her parents.

Celebration of Life Memorial held Wednesday December 14, 2022 at 6:00 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave., with visitation from 4:00 pm until the time of services at 6:00 pm. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
