Cynthia Mcfadden

ROCKFORD – Cynthia McFadden, age 65, of Rockford, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family Monday, May 1, 2023. Born in Baltimore, MD, on November 24, 1957, to U L & Equilla Wright (Cowart). Loving and kind with a little attitude, Cynthia had the biggest heart. She loved spoiling her grandbabies, card games, puzzles, and hitting the slots at the casino. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and dear friend; she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by children, Trevor (Katrina) McFadden, Jermel Rodgers, and Albernee Hunter; grandchildren, Armon, Omarion, Jaquan, Jakhiya, Zharia, A'vae, Jalen, Shaela, Ny'kia, Treviona, Jermel Jr., Makiyah, Malakhi, Amina, Quran, Naseer, Alijah and Aubrielle; a host of great-grandchildren; siblings, Booker (Elaine) Wright, Debra (late John) Thomas, Margie (Jerol) Shanklin and Anthony Wright; numerous nieces & nephews; dear friends, LaVarne, Sharon, and Angie. She is predeceased by her son, Leroy McFadden; granddaughter, Keyaira Williams; sister, Dorothy Williams; and her parents.
