Cynthia Kay Saack

CICERO, IL – Cynthia Kay Saack, age 53, of Cicero, IL and formerly of Rockford, IL passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Born in Rockford on June 4, 1972 to Harold & Patricia Saack Jr. (Jepsen). Funny, witty and fun loving, Cynthia knew how to have fun and always enjoyed a good laugh. Beloved mother, soulmate, sister, aunt and dear friend; she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by life partner; Michael Johnson; sons, Nathan Bell and Gavin Saack-Loy; grandchildren, Jerome & Evan Bell and Christian Loy; sisters, Laura (Matthew) Rehberg and Leslie "Lisa" Peavy; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Tammy Clay. She is predeceased by her father, Harold Saack Jr.; mother, Patricia Thomas; and grandparents, Robert & Helen Jepsen and Harold & Hallie Saack Sr.

Celebration of Life Memorial held Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 4:00 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave., Rockford, with visitation from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm. Cremation rites accorded. Private burial of cremains at New Milford Cemetery. Memorials to the family.
