David Bruce Miller

ROCKFORD – David Bruce Miller, age 57, of Rockford and formally of Elgin, passed away on Tuesday July 31, 2018. Born in Hammond, IN on July 21, 1961 to John Russell & Patricia Ann Miller (Stout). David loved playing guitar, working on cars and was a very good mechanic. Beloved father, grandfather, brother, and dear friend; he will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by daughters, Robyn Miller-Mares and Jennifer (Charles "Maynard" Smith) Miller; grandchildren, Antonio, Ameliah, Dawson, Lilly-Anne, Samuel and Alexis; siblings, Cheryl, Melody & Merideth; dear friend, Andy and numerous nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and brother, Johnny.

Services are private. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
