David Randy Sutherland

ROCKFORD – David Randy Sutherland, age 54, of Rockford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday October 23, 2017. Born in Rockford on September 21, 1963 to Harold Rufus & Barbara Jane Sutherland (Ball). David worked for 34 years at Muller-Pinehurst Dairy. A wonderful caring person, he loved to fish and water-ski. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, he will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Christine Lynn Sutherland (Keena); son, Nick (Kristin) Sutherland; grandchildren, Trevor, Khaleesi and Kayson; mother, Barbara Sutherland; sister, Rhonda (Patrick) McKinney; sister-in-law, Karen Sutherland; as well as numerous nieces & nephews, aunts & uncles and many dear family and friends. He is predeceased by his father, Harold Rufus Sutherland; and brother, Ricky Sutherland.

Celebration of Life Memorial to be held on Thursday October 26, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Avenue, with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
