Dean Lee Dahlenburg

LOVES PARK – Dean Lee Dahlenburg, age 76, of Loves park and formerly of Belvidere passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 11, 2018. Born in Rapid City, SD on February 19, 1942 to Leo Lester & Ethel Mae Dahlenburg (Hall). Dean worked for Chrysler and retired after 30 years of service. Beloved father, grandfather, brother and dear friend; he will remain in our hearts forever.


He is survived by children, Randy Dahlenburg, Bertha (Steven) Fry, Cory (late Kim) Dahlenburg, Shirley (late John) Bradley, Cheryl Carey and Robert (Angie) Varble; siblings, Phyliss, Peggy, Fred, Larry, Rodney, Wanda and Patty; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his wife, Gloria J. Dahlenburg; sons, Harold Lee Varble and Martin Henry Varble; grandson, Jesse Lee Vance; great-granddaughter, Angelica Rose Fry; siblings, Judy & Frank.


Services are Private. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
