Denise Dorothy Quayle

ROCKFORD – Denise Dorothy Quayle, age 66, of Rockford and formerly of Denver, CO passed away peacefully Saturday March 9, 2019. Born in Centralia, IL on November 1, 1952 to Leslie & Dorothy Ann Meyer (Hatfield). A die hard Green Bay Packers and Golden State Warriors fan, Denise loved the family rivalry between teams and wanted all to know - "Bears Suck". She enjoyed card games such as Gin Rummy and Solitaire, as well as crossword puzzles and word searches. Her most treasured times were spent hanging with her grandchildren. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Kay (Joey Booth) Quayle, Liz (Troy Villarreal) Quayle and Michael Alan Quayle; grandchildren, Ashton, Kyla and Keigan; siblings, Alan (Linda) Meyer, John Steinmetz and Melody Bayes; nephews, Leslie & David; dear friends, Richard, Brian, Steven & Nick Clark and Dawn, Aries, Nick Jr , Evan and Nick . She is predeceased by her parents; and dear friends, Eileen Clark, Johnny Noble, Pauly Martin and Michael Clark.

Celebration of Life Memorial held Friday March 22, 2019 at 6pm at Firstborn Ministries, 8213 N Alpine Rd, Loves Park . Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
