Diana Lee Satness

Diana Lee Satness (Kincaid), age 78, of Carpentersville, IL passed away peacefully Wednesday December 13, 2023. Diana was born in Evansville Indiana on July 31, 1945 to June Ruth Dietrich and Sheldon Parker Kincaid.

Diana loved spending time with her family, especially on holidays when they were all together. She had an amazing affection for animals and gave love and attention to many fur babies. Diana also had a passion and love for the arts and enjoyed performing in local community theaters.

Diana is survived by her children, Daniel Woolard, Katharine Woolard DeBoard, Robert Sarto and Patrick Sarto; grandchildren, Alex Woolard and Hope Schmidt; siblings, Jim Kincaid, Eileen O'Neill, Maureen Diaz, Colleen Martin and James O'Neill. She is predeceased by her husband, James Satness; sister, Kathleen Patton; brother, Francis O'Neill; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Sarto; and step-daughter, Jennifer Lynn Culhane.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday August 3, 2024 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Thunder Bay Grille, 7652 Potawatomi Trail, Rockford, IL 61107. Stories and memories honoring Diana will be welcomed. Lunch will be provided.
