Diena Castillo

ROCKFORD – Diena A. Castillo, age 71, of Rockford passed away peacefully surrounded by family Friday, February 20, 2026. Born in Freeport, IL on May 12, 1954 to Allen "Bud" & Yvonne Lee (Brinker). Diena loved crafting, finding deals on QVC and shopping for bargains online. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend, she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Arthur J. Castillo; children, Jason (Sharon) Castillo, Jennifer (Thomas) Johnson and Jamie (Lisa) Castillo; grandchildren, Dylan, Isaiah, Cayden, Amaya, Aubrey and Wyatt; great grandson, Anthony; brothers, David (late Kay) Lee and William (Anna) Lee; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. She is predeceased by her parents.

Celebration of Life Memorial to be held Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 5-8 pm at the St. Ambrogio Society, 802 Montague Street, Rockford. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
