ROCKFORD – Dionicia Garcia Garcia, age 91, of Rockford passed away peacefully surrounded by family Wednesday October 23, 2019 at her home. Born in Zacatecas, Mexico on April 9, 1928 to Pablo & Jacoba Garcia (Garcia).She was a devoted Catholic and would pray and sing songs of praise day and night. She loved to embroider by hand. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Antonio Luevano Reyes; children, Salvador Luevano, Alicia Luevano, Gumaro (Esmeralda) Luevano, Antonio (Cecilia) Luevano, Maria (Jose Leaños) Luevano, Leticia (Osmin) Luevano Gonzalez and Carmela (Jose) Renteria; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; sister, Ramona Garcia Garcia; brother, Antonio Garcia Garcia; as well as numerous nieces & nephews; and many dear friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Pablo & Jacoba Garcia; son, Manuel Luevano, daughters, Maria de Jesus Luevano and Margarita Luevano; brothers, Catarino, Jose and Jesus Garcia Garcia; and sisters, Apolonia and Maria Garcia Garcia.

Funeral Services held Friday October 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Avenue, with visitation from 8:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM. Interment at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery, Rockford. Memorials to the family.
