Dolores Marie Rundberg

ROCKFORD – Dolores Marie (Bisbee) Rundberg, 81, passed into her eternal home Christmas morning, Tuesday December 25, 2018, with loved ones by her side. She was born August 22, 1937 in Rockford to Elmer & Anita Bisbee. Dolores was a 1955 graduate of West High School in Rockford. She was united in marriage to Glen Rundberg on June 30, 1957. She was devoted to the care of her family & many special friends. Dolores was a faithful member of Beth Eden United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School for over 30 years. She was also a Girl Scout Leader & a school lunch aide. Dolores worked many years at North Main Manor, retired from Larson & Darby and worked at Legacy Designs. She enjoyed music & dancing and taking trips to Florida to visit family there. She was also a member of the Eagles Club. Dolores tried to attend anything she was invited to. She lived her life dedicated to the Lord's work to give us hope. She will truly be missed.

She is survived by children, Kim Paine, Harold Rundberg, Robin (Terry) Smith, Michael Rundberg & Daniel Rundberg; grandchildren, Rachel Wihlborg, Renee (Tim) Roher, Susan (Rich) Sutliff, Sarah Smith, Tori Rundberg, Ciara Fenton & Kayla Paine; great-grandchildren, Richie, Bella, Brinna, Aiden, Hudson, Oliva, Macklin & Aubree; sister, Anita (Pat) Martin; brother, Donnie (Paula) Parker; sister-in-law, Donna Jaeger, former son-in-law, Tom Paine; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many caring friends as well. She is predeceased by Glen, her husband of 55 years; parents; sisters, Lena Mae Sanchez & Arlene (Jim) Kilgore; in-laws, Vern & Barb Jackson, Marie & Bob Whipple, Norm Jaeger.

Visitation & Funeral service will be held on Saturday December 29, 2018, at Beth Eden United Methodist Church, 3201 Huffman Blvd., Rockford. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 noon. Internment at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family of Dolores Rundberg. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
