Dominic Corirossi Sr.

ROCKFORD - Dominic Corirossi Sr., age 88, of Rockford went home to be with the Lord on Saturday April 3, 2021. Born January 24, 1933 in Rockford to Michael & Angelina Corirossi. A proud member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, Dominic was an avid bowler and managed several local softball teams. His love for music, dancing and Italian cooking will forever be remembered. Dominic's life would best be summed up with his favorite song by Frank Sinatra "I did it my way".

He is survived by his children, Cynthia Richardson, Dominic Corirossi Jr., Frank Corirossi, Allen Corirossi and Andy Corirossi; grandchildren, Cira Richardson, Jessica Leka, Philippe Leka, Dominic Corirossi III, Kati Peterson and Anthony Corirossi; along with many great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents.

Celebration of Life Memorial Mass held Wednesday May 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1010 Ferguson St, Rockford, IL 61102. Cremation rites accorded. Interment of Cremains at Calvary Cemetery. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
