ROCKFORD – Donavan James Keinz, age 20, of Rockford and formerly of Roscoe passed away Wednesday March 20, 2019. Born in Rockford on April 25, 1998 to Chris M. Keinz & Misty Lyn Brown. Donavan had a wonderful sense of humor and always enjoyed a good joke. A dedicated and hard worker he was employed at CIT Group Inc. In his free time he loved drawing, refinishing & refurbishing furniture & treasures found at the junk yard and playing video games with his brothers. Beloved son, brother, grandson, and dear friend; he will remain in our hearts forever.
He is survived by mother, Misty (Corey LaMont) Keinz; father; Chris (Tina) Keinz; siblings, Ariana LaMont, Ethan & Brandon Keinz and Austin, Alex & Asa Wilson; grandparents, Bob (Trish) Keinz, Kerry (Pat) LaMont, Garry (late Phyllis) Brown; aunts & uncles, Sunny (Shawn), Dawn (John), Wendy (JR), Ronald and Travis (Cindie); many dear friends; beloved dogs, Klohe & Squirt. He is predeceased by his grandmother, Phyllis Brown.
Funeral Services held Wednesday March 27, 2019 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Avenue, Rockford. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
