Donna Faye Davis

ROCKFORD – Donna Faye Davis, age 67, of Rockford passed away peacefully Friday, May 29, 2026. Born in Jonesboro, AR on September 22, 1958 to William R. & Juanita S. Dye (Lee). Donna married Curtis Davis in Janesville, WI on June 10, 1983. In her spare time she enjoyed her favorite games animal crossing and candy crush, watching B Horror movies the cheesier the better for her, she also enjoyed watching old Godzilla movies and listening to Elvis her favorite singer. She never missed catching up on her soap operas when they were on, Days of Our Lives being her favorite and when time allowed, sitting down with a good book. An animal lover at heart Donna cherished her pups, she also loved peacocks, hummingbirds and butterflies as they were her favorite animals. Beloved wife, mother, sister and dear friend; she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Curtis Davis; daughters, Sylvia & Angela Davis; grand pups, Newt & Harry; siblings, Bill (late Sally) Dye, Brenda Whitlow, Rita (Dan) Loewellen, Sarah (Mark) Biggers, Jeff (Jerilyn) Dye and Tim (late Lisa) Dye; numerous nieces & nephews, cousins and many dear friends. She is predeceased by her parents; siblings, Barbara Shirley, Larry Dye and James Dye; and beloved dogs, Bella, Maddie, Coco, Sonya and Penny.

Celebration of Life Memorial to be held Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 12:00 noon at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave., with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 noon. Cremation rites accorded. Inurnment at Sunset Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
