Edward Lee Hughes

ROCKFORD – Edward Lee Hughes, age 74, of Rockford passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Born in Minden, WV on June 30, 1950 to Otin & Faye Hughes (Tincher). Ed enjoyed antiquing, classic car shows and collecting anything and everything. Beloved father, grand and great grandpa and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by children; grandchildren; and great granddaughter. He is predeceased by his parents; and grandson.

Celebration of Life Memorial held Friday, February 28, 2025 from 2 pm – 4 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Avenue, Rockford. Cremation rites accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital or American Red Cross.
