Edward Paul Mauerman Sr.

ROCKFORD – Edward P. Mauerman Sr., age 80, of Rockford passed away peacefully at home Tuesday October 26, 2021. Born in Brodhead, WI on June 17, 1941 to Frederick Albert & Jeanette Kathleen Mauerman (Benjamin). Ed moved to Rockford where he met his wife of 42 ½ years, Nancy Rockwell. A proud member of Local 23, Ed retired after 30 years of service as a plumber & pipefitter. After his retirement he owned and operated Ed's Tree Service for over 20 years. An avid Green Bay Packers fan and a collector of all things, Ed loved wheeling & dealing at local flea markets. He enjoyed socializing and meeting new people and could talk to anyone for hours. Loving husband, father and Papa; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his son, Edward (Andrea LaGrene) Mauerman Jr., daughters, Diana (Pete Roth) Mauerman and Cathy (Dewayne Smith) Mauerman; grandchildren, Tylina and Devin; great grandchildren, Jayden, Alexis, Iziah and Glanna; sisters, Elsie Keirn and Sandy Barber; brothers, Harry (Vicki) Mauerman, Wayne Mauerman and Gary (Diane) Mauerman. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Nancy; daughter, Sheila; grandson, Cody; brothers, Harvey and Frederick; sister, Bonita; his parents; and cherished fur babies, Kujo, Sky and Charlie.

Celebration of Life Memorial held Saturday October 30, 2021 at 3:00 PM at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Avenue, Rockford. Visitation from 1:00 PM until the time of services at 3:00 PM. Cremation rites accorded. Private interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead, WI. Memorials to the family.
