MACHESNEY PARK – Elaine Barbara Hudson, age 83, of Machesney Park passed away peacefully Wednesday March 27, 2019. Born in Rockford on June 6, 1935 to Harry Anton & Inez Mae Hudson (Johnson). A proud and founding member of the Sinnissippi Quilt Club. Elaine loved baking and spending time with her pride & joys, her grandchildren and great grandson. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Fields; grandchildren, Kayla Beck and Matt Swanberg; great grandson, Sean Swanberg; brother, Jack (late Marisol) Hudson; numerous nieces & nephews; and many dear friends. She is predeceased by her children, Dale Fields and Dawn Hake-Beck; siblings, Delbert, Jeanette, Dorothy, Gloria, Vivian and Viola; and her parents.
Celebration of Life Memorial held on Saturday April 6, 2019 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the VFW, 922 7th Street, Rockford. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
