Ellen Spatz

ROCKFORD – Ellen Louise Spatz, age 85, lifetime resident of Rockford passed away peacefully Thursday May 28, 2020. Born in Rockford July 20,1934 daughter of John & Carol Stevenson ((Peaslee). Graduate of Winnebago High School, she married Richard Orm Spatz on December 31, 1954. A proud member of Central Christian Church, she loved camping, square dancing and tending her garden & flowers. Beloved mother and grandmother, she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by; son, Richard "Russ" (Kim) Spatz; daughter-in-law, Pam Spatz; grandchildren, Eric, Danielle, Christopher & Stephine Spatz; great grandchildren, Morgan, Lilly & Charley; as well as numerous nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Richard Orm Spatz; son, James Spatz; and grandchildren, Robert (Courtney) Spatz.

Memorial Services held at a later date at Central Christian Church, 6595 Guilford Rd.,Rockford – date and times to be announced. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
