Elvina "Cindy" Renteria

ROCKFORD – Elvina Lucinda "Cindy" Renteria, age 60, of Rockford and formerly of Belvidere passed away peacefully at home Thursday May 27, 2021. Born in Rockford on October 24, 1960 to John H. & Juanita M. Presley (Kampen). She adored her children & grandchildren and loved spending time together with her family. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend; she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Miguel Renteria; children, Ian (Sarah) Renteria, Yolanda (Polo) Cardenas and Alex Renteria; grandchildren; Mia, Ava, Emerson and Delaney ; brother, Daniel Presley; sister, Sharon (James) Gibson; several nieces and grand nieces & nephews ; and best friend; Denise Britton Chairez and many dear friends. She is predeceased by her parents; and brothers, Samuel Presley and John Presley Jr.

Celebration of Life Memorial held Saturday June 5, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the Christenson Funeral Home , 925 3 ^rd Ave., Rockford, with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 12:00 noon. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. .
