Evelyn Bessie Suski

ROCKFORD – Evelyn Bessie Suski, age 81, of Rockford passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday October 19, 2017. Born in Yakima, Washington on April 18, 1936 to Roy Osker & Bessie Weir Masters (Kirk). Evelyn adored her family, she enjoyed family gatherings and loved to cook. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joseph Suski; daughter, Donna (Roger) Sellers of Fayettville, AR; son, Steve (Martina) Suski of Freeport; granddaughters, Theresa (EJ), Brittney (Sean) and Kole; great granddaughters, Inara and River; siblings, Bev (Kim), Carol (Jim), Barb, David and Robert (Sandy); sister-in-law, Nancy; as well as numerous nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by sisters, Kathryn, Hazel (Charlie) and Mildred; brothers, Albert & Raymond.

Funeral services to be held on Monday October 23, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Ave., Rockford, with visitation from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials to the family.
