Fern Eileen Gregory

ROCKFORD – Fern Eileen Gregory, age 100, of Rockford passed away peacefully Monday April 9, 2018. Born in Bloomfield, IL on December 28, 1917 to Sophia Gregory. A lifetime member of the Rockford Moose Lodge. Fern worked as a manicurist for 50 years plus and donated many manicures in nursing homes & hospitals to clients & friends. She adored her dog Tiffy, and loved to spoil her. Loving and kind in her ways, she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her cousins, Hazel Moss, Barbara Derricks; grandchildren, Brian (Becky) DeVeirman; great grandson, Adam DeVeirman; dear friends, Jeanie (Jack) Revelle, Betty (Greg) Scalise, Lisa Brand and Bob (Betty) Rand. She is predeceased by her dear friend, Jack Brand; cousins, Richard Hoots & Carl Gregory; and her mother.

Funeral services held on Saturday April 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Avenue, with visitation from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM. Interment at Bloomfield Cemetery, Winchester, IL. Memorials to the family.
