ROCKFORD – Francisco Roberto Martinez, age 50, of Rockford passed away Thursday May 17, 2018. Born in Harvard, IL on July 5, 1967 to Francisco Salas & Mercedes Marie Ramon. Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and dear friend; he will remain in our hearts forever.
He is survived by children, Leah Martinez and Francisco Martinez Jr.; step-children, Jamie (Donna) Ketchum, Heather Heath and Hailey Jones; siblings, Cira Chavez, Lupe (Patti) Martinez and Willie Ramon; as well as several grandchildren and nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Sam Florez; and his parents.
Celebration of Life Memorial held Saturday May 26, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Avenue, Rockford, with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 12:00 Noon. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
