Frank P Goodman

ROCKFORD – Frank P. Goodman, age 85, of Rockford passed away Saturday November 25, 2017. Born in Rockford on September 11, 1932 to Francis Peter & Marice M. Goodman (Keating). An avid reader & outdoors-man; Frank loved hiking, camping and canoeing the boundary waters of Minnesota & the adjoining waters of Quetico National Park, Canada. Veteran of the US Navy. He was a pillar of his neighborhood, generously sharing & giving to anyone in need and always willing to lend a hand. Beloved brother, uncle and dear friend, he will remain in our hearts forever.  "Egads, it's hard to believe Frank is gone."

He is survived by his siblings, Thomas C. (Roseann) Boyle and Pat Laurent; many nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews; beloved cats, Jack & Jill. He is predeceased by his brother, Michael Boyle; father, Francis Peter Goodman; mother, Marice (Paul) Boyle.

Celebration of Life Memorial to be held on Friday December 1, 2017 from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3 ^rd Avenue, Rockford. Cremation rites accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society.
