Frank D. Otten

OREGON – Franklin D. Otten, age 84, of Oregon, Illinois passed away peacefully Saturday June 15, 2019. Born in Dekalb, Illinois on June 11, 1935 to Henry & Ethel (Long) Otten. Frank enjoyed watching baseball especially the Atlanta Braves. He lived in Daysville, Illinois with his first wife Lela (Castel) Otten. There they raised seven children Neal, Michael, Kenneth, Candy, Donald, Randy and Steven. Frank then moved to Arizona with his second wife Cindy, where they raised a daughter Tiffany. Beloved father, grandfather, brother and dear friend; he will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by sons, Neal Otten, Ken (Gina) Otten, Don (Connie) Otten, Randy (Jodi) Otten and Steve (Jerri) Otten; daughters, Candy (Bob) Sandoval and Tiffany Otten; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jesse) Palmer-Saldoval, Michael Otten, Whitney (Michael) Kahly, Tiffany Otten, Dane (Zach) Otten, Trevor Otten and Sara (Chris) Otten; many great grandchildren; and sisters, Betty and Mary Otten. He is predeceased by his parents, Henry & Ethel Otten; son, Michael Otten; first wife, Lela Otten; second wife, Cindy Otten; brothers, Albert Otten, Richard Otten, LeRoy Otten, Eugene Otten; and sister, Henrietta Otten.

Private family services held. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
