Frank Jessie Ross Jr.

ROCKFORD – Frank Jessie Ross Jr., age 60, of Rockford and formerly of Grand Rapids, MI passed away peacefully on Thursday April 20, 2017. Born in Grand Rapids on February 12, 1957. Frank loved to watch football, his favorite team was the Detroit Lions. He enjoyed animals, especially dogs, his favorite food was fish and he loved being a "ladies man". Beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and dear friend, he will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by daughters, Shimika Davis (Ricky Lane) and Toni Davis (Marcus Green); foster mother, Beatrice Young; mother of his children, Angela Davis; foster brothers, Dale Young and David Young; foster sisters, Sandi Young and Sherry Young; special niece, Shanicka Stowers; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews & friends. He is predeceased by his biological parents, Janet Wodden & Frank Jessie Ross Sr.; and his sister.

Celebration of Life Memorial to be announced. Memorials to the family. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral home is assisting with arrangements.
