ROCKFORD - Gregory Robert Zies , age 71, of Rockford, IL passed away peacefully Thursday December 31, 2020. Born on April 12, 1950 in Rochelle, IL to Robert Charles & Phyllis Ann Zies (Delmont). He retired from Professional Graphics after 25 years of service as a Customer Service Representative. Greg loved Green Bay Packers Football, Chicago White Sox, Muscle Cars - (Charger, Nova, GTO), Fishing and Old Movies. Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by sons, Anthony Zies and Gregory (Shannon) Zies; 5 loving grandchildren; brother, David (Lynn) Zies; sister & caregiver, Anne Zies; nieces, Daphne Jones and Abbey Confer; nephews, Seth Zies-Fields, Christopher Zies, Cameron Zies and Matthew Baylor; many cousins & dear friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Robert & Phyllis Zies.
