Hollis D. Bosley

ROCKFORD - Hollis Dolphin Bosley, age 92, of Rockford passed away peacefully Saturday June 13, 2020. Born in Cedarville, MI on January 4, 1928 to Lewis & Ida Bosley (Smith). A proud Veteran of the US Army, Hollis loved buying, selling and bartering at flea markets, everything from classic fishing lures to antique tools. He truly enjoyed a good round of golf and traveling the US with his beloved wife Mary. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years; Mary Elizabeth Bosley (Czarnocki); sister, Darlene (Ronald) Reid; children, Tim (Pam) Bosley, Thomas Bosley, Tammy Bosley and Ben Przesmicki; grandchildren, Tasha, David and Ryan (Kim); great grandchildren, twins - Aliesha & Allison, Peyton and Cora; as well as numerous nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his son, Jeremy; and his parents.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial held Saturday August 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Rita Catholic Church, 6254 Valley Knoll Dr, Rockford, IL 61109 . Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family
