MACHESNEY PARK - Jacob Michael Kunke, 26, of Machesney Park went home to Heaven on Friday, January 26, 2018. Born in Rockford on December 19, 1991 to Joseph Francis & Jolie Rae Kunke (Haedike). His Lord Jesus holds him now, as He also holds us, in his everlasting arms. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. Although he was called home so soon, he filled his life with laughter and love. His spirit was a generous one, always looking to help others. He touched many people, never afraid to share his faith. He made his parents proud. Beloved son, brother and dear friend he will remain in our hearts forever.
Jake is survived by his parents, Joseph & Jolie Kunke; brothers, Jeremiah & Joshua. Many loving family members and friends.
He simply waits for us.
Services will be private. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
