Jeffrey Alan Doane

ROCKFORD – Jeffrey Alan Doane, age 64, passed away on Monday June 19, 2017. Born in Atlantic, IA on April 1, 1953 to Wayne & Rose Doane (Dimig). Jeff owned & operated his own flooring company in Rockford. A kind and generous man, he would help his friends & family anytime they needed it. He enjoyed playing poker and time with his family, but most of all spoiling his granddaughters. Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and dear friend, he will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by children, Kristin (fiance Roger Bakka) Doane, Jeremy (Mandy Stickels) Doane; step-daughter, Kari (Kieran) Lyons; granddaughters, Kalista and Isabella; siblings, Kathy (Tom) Pace, Kris (Mel) Whitney, Jerry (Geri) Doane, Joe (Margaret) Doane, Jamie (Kate) Doane; mother of his children, Kate Doane; numerous nieces & nephews and cousins; sister-in-law & special friend, Jill Ballard; and dear friends, Todd, Mark, Pepper, J.C., Mike, Dave, Ken, Stephen, and Jason; special little friend, Carter. He is predeceased by his grandson, Carson Doane; nephew, Justin "Champ" Randall; niece, Katie Whitney; and his parents.

Celebration of Life Memorial to be held on Saturday July 1, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave., with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 12:00 noon. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
