STILLMAN VALLEY – Jennielee Ruth Ellerman, age 86, of Stillman Valley passed away peacefullyat home on Tuesday January 23, 2018. Born in Rosebud, SD on July 27, 1931 to George E. & Julia J. Rogers (DeCory). She owned and operated her own cleaning service in Colorado for many years. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her children, Fred Fowler, Mary (Kenn) Schutte, Joseph (Lestra) D'Agosta, Lori (Gary) Veitch, Mitzi (Karl) Braun; grandchildren: Jennielee, Julie, Nicole, Kayla, Erich, Alyssa, Mark, Samantha, Sharon, Cassie, Grace, Nichole, Jennifer, Jonathan, Fred Jr., Michael, Christine, Joseph, Sonnett; great-grandchildren: Zachary, Robert, James, Breanna, Matthew, Joseph, Pierce; sister, Geri Garwood. She is predeceased by her husbands, Eugene Fowler, Sam D'Agosta and David Ellerman; parents, George & Julia Rogers; siblings, Gilbert Rogers, Bob Rogers, George Rogers Jr., Cora Rogers, Winnie Burnett, Victoria Thonsick, Marilyn Wright, Thelma Ferron, Arthur Ferron, Ruby Connery and Stanley Rogers.

Mass of Christian Burial held Saturday January 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Oratory, 517 Elm Street, Rockford, with visitation from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass at 10:00 AM. Jennielee requested that everyone not feel obligated to wear the traditional black attire associated with funerals, instead she wanted people to celebrate life and wear God's beautiful colors. Inurnment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery on Monday January 29, 2018 at 9:00 AM. Memorials to the Family. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
