Jinlea I. Bredeson

ROCKFORD - Jinlea I. Bredeson, age 26, of Rockford passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Born August 20, 1999 in Rockford, Illinois, to Steven C. and Hyun Shaunna Bredeson.

Jinlea was an incredible cook; she expressed her love through the meals she prepared, bringing people together and creating lasting memories around the table. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her beloved daughter, Kamiya, who was the center of her world.

Jinlea had a gift for making others laugh, effortlessly filling any space with joy, humor, and light. Her cleverness and quick wit were unmatched — she always had a way of turning even the simplest moments into something special. Whether Jinlea was sharing a joke, telling a story, or simply being herself, she left an impression that will never be forgotten. She admired her sisters deeply and cherished the bond they shared. Surrounded by love, Jinlea gave that same love freely to everyone around her. She also had a spirit for adventure, always eager to explore new places and embrace life's experiences.

Jinlea will be remembered for her laughter, kindness, brilliance, creativity, and the love she poured into her family and friends. She was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Born to eternal life, Jinlea is to be reunited above. She is survived by her daughter, Kamiya L. Cromwell; loving parents, Hyun Shaunna Bredeson and Steven C. Bredeson; brother and sisters, Steven J. Bredeson, Sonia Y. Bredeson, JinJu M. Bredeson; her grandparents, Gary D. Bredeson and Yong H. Im; and many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephew.
