Joanna Horvath

ROCKFORD – Joanna Horvath, age 65, of Rockford passed away peacefully Tuesday April 20, 2021. Born in Chicago on September 7, 1955 to Raymond & Agnes Husar (Rigo). Joanna was a proud and devoted member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend; she will remain forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Horvath and Vanessa (Jason Luzadder) Horvath; grandchildren, Devan, Erica, Hannah (Joey), Sophie and Dominic; great grandchildren, Mila, Jionni, Layla, Noah and Esme; brother, Maxie Husar; 3 nieces and 1 nephew; and beloved beagle, Charlie. She is predeceased by her husband, Norman Horvath.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial held at a later date. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
