LOVES PARK- Joanne Esther Mead, age 72, of Loves Park passed away on Sunday February 11, 2018. Born in Rockford on August 23, 1945 to Paul William & Esther Caroline Mitchell (McHone). Beloved mother, grandmother and dear friend; she will remain in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her children, Diana L. Mead, Joseph P. Mead and William T. (April) Mead; grandchildren, Amber, Starr, Christina (Christopher), Sera, Joseph and Viktor; nieces & nephews; Sean Mitchell, Kevin Howard and Anna Johnson. She is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Irvin Joe Mead; parents; siblings, Mable Mae, Lee, Mary, William and Janet; nephew, Paul Johnson; and numerous beloved pets.
Services are private. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family. Christenson Funeral Home assisting with arrangements.
