John Charles Kollak

BELVIDERE – John Charles Kollak, age 71, of Belvidere, IL passed away peacefully Thursday December 15, 2022. Born in Chicago, IL on November 11, 1951 to John H. & Iva Kollak (Campbell). A proud Veteran of the US Army, John retired after 30 years of service as a pipe fitter for the Belvidere Chrysler Assembly Plant, as well as owning & operating his own plumbing business for many years. He truly loved his children & grandchildren and spending time with family & friends. Beloved father, grandfather and dear friend; he will remain forever in our hearts.

He is survived by children, John A. Kollak, Jeremy L. Kollak, Jason A. Kollak, Joyce L.M. (Randy) Von Haden and Corrine R. Kollak; grandchildren, Evan M. Keating, Laila E. Von Haden and Lydia N. Von Haden. He is predeceased by sister, Elaine Kollak; and his parents.

Services are Private. Cremation rites accorded. Interment at Highland Memorial Gardens. Memorials to the family.
