ROCKFORD – John Louis Tobin, age 58, of Rockford passed away on Tuesday June 15, 2021. Born in Rockford on June 22, 1962 to Jack Louis Tobin & Judith Kay Johnston. Kindhearted and dearly loved, John loved hanging with his friends, motorcycles and fishing with his brother. Beloved father, brother, uncle and dear friend; he will remain in our hearts forever.

He is survived by daughters, Denise (Mike) Singh and Rachel Tobin; grandchildren, Alex, Jasmine and Jayden; siblings, Robert Tobin, Tom (Jeannie) Hill and Mark (Amber) Canfield; nephews, Zakk (Lilly), Nick (Jessenia) and Jake; special aunts, Joan (late Gregg) Wadsworth and Carol (Dennis) Phillip;dear friend, Maria Angileri; best friend, Bill Barbarich and many other beloved friends & family. He is predeceased by his father, Jack Louis Tobin; mother, Judith Kay Hill; and brother, Brian Scott Tobin.

A Celebration of Life Memorial & Benefit held Saturday July 24, 2021 at 2:00pm at Latham West, 4213 W State St, Rockford, IL . Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.
